Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Will I still be able to use a pass that has been eliminated after January 1?
A: No, the bus passes that will be eliminated will no longer be available for purchase January 1. Individuals who still have any Single Ride tickets or Punch Passes are encouraged to use them up before after January 31. After January 31, those passes will no longer be accepted on the bus.

Q: When will the last Metro Pass be available for purchase?
A: The Adult Metro and Student/Disabled/Veteran Metro passes are no longer available for purchase. The new 30-Day Pass replaces all Metro passes.

Q: What does the elimination of transfers mean for an avid bus rider?
A: The elimination of transfers means that a rider will have to pay a fare each time they board the bus. For example, if a full-fare rider needs to change to another bus to get to their final destination, their full trip will cost $2.00 ($1.00 for each leg of the trip), and the return trip will also cost $2.00. The best option for passengers is the new $3.00 Day Pass offering unlimited rides for one full day, or the new 30-Day Pass for $40.00, offering unlimited rides for 30 days.
