CityLink celebrated Rosa Parks Day on what would have been the Civil Rights activist's 102nd birthday. For the past three years, CityLink has reserved a seat on each of the buses in its fleet on February 4 to honor Rosa Parks, and this year was no different. In addition to the reserved seat, CityLink staff handed out cookies to passengers at the Transit Center.

A unique Cat® Multi-Terrain Loader has taken up residence in the lobby of the Caterpillar Visitors Center during the month of November – and it is not the typical yellow iron visitors may be used to seeing. The Peoria-based FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics team, Robot Casserole, built the Cat® Multi-Terrain Loader over a period of three days, using canned and other non-perishable food products donated by Kroger. Mark your calendars, the 2015 Peoria Historical Calendar will be available in mid-November! This year the calendar is going back to its roots by featuring 13 historical photographs of the downtown Peoria Warehouse District. The photographs were provided by the Peoria Historical Society and Bradley University’s Special Collections Center, along with most of the historical content for each page. CityLink is excited to feature unique photos of an area of Peoria that is undergoing a revitalization.
