CityLink hosted a Black History Month Program on Thursday, February 18 at the Transit Center. The program lasted approximately one hour, and included students from Christ Lutheran School and Peoria High School, and guest speakers Denise Moore (City of Peoria Councilwoman) and Laraine Bryson (Tri-County Urban League President).
CityLink is partnering with Peoria High School to celebrate Black History Month in February. Students from Peoria High School designed posters for one of their classes featuring historical African American figures, scenes, and quotes.
