GPMTD Board Trustee Honored as Local Legend by InterBusiness Issues Magazine

GPMTD Board Trustee Joan Krupa was recently honored by InterBusiness Issues Magazine as a Local Legend. Each year, iBi Magazine honors a number of remarkable individuals who have spent their lives making a positive impact on their community. Joan was selected by the magazine to be one of the 2017 Local Legends for her dedication as a public servant and health advocate.

Joan's career spans from its beginnings as a teacher and elementary guidance counselor, to working as assistant dean of women at Bradley, to working as the parent coordinator for the Peoria County Bright Futures program, and eventually as executive director and CEO of Heartland Community Health Clinic, a position of which she served for six years.

You can read Joan's entire interview from the July 2017 InterBusiness Issues Magazine by clicking here.

Peoria Magazines was kind enough to share photos with us from the 2017 Local Legends reception at the Country Club of Peoria on July 11, 2017.
