CityLink Hosting Black History Month Program at Transit Center on Feb. 16

CityLink will host a program to celebrate Black History Month at the Transit Center (407 SW Adams, Peoria) on Thursday, February 16 starting at 10:00 a.m.  The program will include choir performances by 3rd grade students from Christ Lutheran School and skit and choir performances by Peoria High School students.  Guest speaker for the program is Chris Reynolds, Athletic Director at Bradley University.  The program is expected to last approximately one hour.
 
Those in attendance will also be able to enjoy posters and artwork celebrating Black History Month that are on display at the Transit Center.  The posters and artwork feature current and historical African American figures, scenes and quotes.
 
Light refreshments will follow after the program concludes.
