The 2016 Stuff-A-Bus food drive for Peoria Friendship House of Christian Service officially began on Friday, October 28 with a press conference at the Kroger store located at 801 W. CityLink and the Amalgamated Transit Union Local #416 was asked several months ago (WAY back in February, to be exact!) to participate in this year's Kroger Community Report because of the long-time partnership that exists between CityLink, the ATU #416, and Kroger for the Stuff-A-Bus food drive. It was a cold, but successful day for the 2014 Day of Stuffing. Thanks to the generosity of individuals who stopped by to purchase pre-bagged donations, brought their own items for donation, or contributed money, 1580 pounds were collected from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14.

The first Fall Festival Kickoff for Stuff-a-Bus was a success. Several people came out to enjoy the festivities at the Kroger on Lindbergh Drive on October 26. There was pumpkin decorating, a bouncy house, a balloon artist, and storytelling. NASH FM also brocast live for two hours during the event.
