CityLift and CountyLink Join Forces with Coordinated Dispatch Effort

Dispatch for CityLift and CountyLink was recently combined at the beginning of February.  Passengers of both services now call 309-999-3667 to schedule a ride.

Prior to this change, CountyLink passengers called a different number to schedule a ride. Having one phone number to call in for rides makes it more efficient for the scheduling of vehicles, and a cooperation of service to benefit the CAUSE area and overall service.  This is a pilot program within the State of...Read more

GPMTD Receives New Paratransit Vehicles

GPMTD recently received new paratransit (CityLift) vehicles. The vehicles received are Ford E450 Body-on-Chassis with a Champion Challenger body. They were manufactured by Champion in Imlay City, Michigan and brokered by Central States Bus Sales, Inc. in Fenton, MO. 

These vehicles have the capacity to accommodate up to 14 passengers and numerous wheelchairs. They have a specially designed roof to increase passenger safety and the latest enhancements in seatbelt and wheelchair securements. Advertising Wraps Bring New Life to the Exterior of CityLift Vehicles

At the September 19, 2016 GPMTD Board of Trustees meeting, Heller Outdoor Group was awarded an exclusive contract to sell advertising on CityLift paratransit vehicles. Since the contract was awarded, President/Owner of Heller Outdoor Group, Neil Heller, has been very busy selling advertising wraps to local businesses in the Greater Peoria area. Thus far, 13 out of CityLift's 36 vehicles have wraps installed on all three sides of the vehicle. CityLift Donates Blue Loops to EP!C

Thanks to a generous donation by MV Transportation, the operator of CityLift, coupled with the assistance of Angel and Brian from CityLift and GPMTD’s Director of Mobility Andy Dwyer, some EP!C riders now are equipped with “Blue Loops”.   These Loops ensure that a rider is secured the best way possible, each and every time they ride a CityLift vehicle.

CityLink Director of Marketing Takes a Ride Along with CityLift

CityLink Director of Marketing Emily Watson recently went on a “ride along” with one of the operators for CityLift, which is the demand response paratransit service comprised of 48 vehicles, managed by the Greater Peoria Mass Transit District (GPMTD) and operated by MV Transportation.
